For the first time in 3 years...

Anime as we know it will be returning to Toledo! For 3 glorious days in August of 2022, (the 26th, 27th and 28th to be exact!), the top 2 floors of the Seagate Centre will be taken over by cosplayers, gamers, and fans of all walks of life. Kazokukon represents the rebirth of a dream, not just the re-establishment of a fandom event in Toledo, but a dream of creating something new.

Aeonica Cosplay has been involved with many conventions, through the provision of main stage events, panel programming and photoshoot meetups. He has also helped run other events, serving as staff and as convention co-chair. 2020 taught him the value of community. We need each other. Navigating the aftermath of that painful year saw many new relationships forged, as well as a few severed. Pain can cause growth if we learn from it.

Indeed, many lessons were learned. Some pragmatic such as how to reduce crowding at social events. Others personal, such as how to let go and reach out. We have all come through a long hard journey. It's not over yet, but we can make it together.

And at the end of it all, let us come together next summer at the Seagate Centre, August 26-28 to celebrate the magic of fandom, the glue that holds our crazy extended family together!
